There are thorns.
There are mountains.
There are valleys.
Yet as we walk through this earthly life, it can be abundantly rich with blessings from Him if we fully allow God to be who He is in our lives. Many times we try to take the wheel, to guide the path, and steer in our own direction according to the desires of our hearts.
Walking with Christ does not mean my life will be simple. It does not mean that what I want to happen will happen. Circumstances will not always turn out how I want them to be. Yet I can have peace, and abundance in Him, if I allow God to be the God of my life.
I have to do my part, and pray. Pray for His will.
I must fully trust in Him, that He is working all things for the good of those who love Him.
I cannot bind myself to the outcome though, as it is my failure, when it does not turn out as I had planned. I cannot change other people, I can only change myself.
Daily, I must forgive, bless, and release things to God.
Then, His will may be done in my life.
My life will then be abundant in Him.
And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.
Psalm 9:10
