Eternal Excellence

Are we truly living for God when we proclaim the name of being a "Christian"?
Are we walking the walk, and talking the talk, yet not living the life?
Is everything we do before Him blameless?
Are our words and deeds pure in thought and action?
Are they done for Him, or merely ourselves?
Dear Heavenly Father,
May all I do be an eternal excellence for you. May it be done in purity and righteousness for your name, not mine. I fall short daily of the glory of God, but can be made righteous only through faith in your son, Jesus Christ. May your love abound more and more through Christ in us, for your glory. Amen.

Whereas you have been forsaken and hated, with no one passing through, I will make you majestic forever, a joy from age to age.
Isaiah 60:15

And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
Philippians 1:9-11
