Preparing Hearts for His Glory: Unit 3

Caterpillar has had another wonderful week in Heart of Dakota. This week we had the blessing of being able to truly enjoy the flexibility of a 4 day schedule. We were able to incorporate the extras, and still deal with unexpected things coming up in life. We were able to shuffle around some days and workboxes... and still manage to get it all done! Thank you HOD! Here is a look at our week.
This is our Proverb Picture of the week, with Caterpillar's work on the right. We are really enjoying the study of Proverbs, the depth and richness, as well as simplicity in the manner of which we are studying it.

Our next addition to the Timeline.

Caterpillar was reluctant at first with the chalks. Yet once he gave them a chance, it was a whole new world of blending colors.

Here is his completed masterpiece. A cave drawing of his successful bull and woolly mammoth hunt!

The giraffe and woolly mammoth shown here are the results from using Draw and Write through History. This is included in HOD's Preparing Hearts curriculum. We are enjoying how it allows us to further our studies each week, as well as learn drawing and art techniques.
