Another New Addition: The Joy of Workboxes!

Workboxes have been another great addition to our homeschool this year! We have several more than the traditional system, yet have included many extra fun activities such as Pictures with Proverbs, Logic and Games, as well as Typing to just name a few. Here is our schedule to give a better idea of what we include!

This system has been such a blessing already! I can quickly go through our daily assignment sheet, and Preparing Hearts for His Glory teachers manual to fill the boxes within 10 minutes!

I place the materials needed for each box accordingly to the Workbox Schedule. Even as we finish with a workbox, Caterpillar likes to place some of the books and materials we will need for the next day in them as he replaces the workbox on the shelf when the task is completed. He then takes the workbox number and places it on his Workbox card!

It is a great way to teach responsibility, accountability, and having a sense of accomplishment! I have never seen such diligence! Yippee!!! Changes can be great!
