A Taste of Spring!
Living here in the Southeastern part of Virginia can definitely be interesting weather wise! On Monday, we woke up to temperatures in the 20's and 2 or more inches of snow on the ground. The afternoon high was around 35 degrees! Tuesday brought more of the same with a high of 29 degrees! BBBBRRRRR! A little cold for March if you ask me! Yet by Wednesday we saw the upper 40's, on Thursday the upper 50's, and Friday brought temperatures in the mid 60's! As the saying around here goes, "the weather changes almost daily!"
With bright sunshine, light March winds, and temperatures in the 60's we headed to the park for some fun. Caterpillar enjoyed climbing, sliding and swinging on the giant playsets. Before leaving, we headed to the lake area to see if the ducks and turtles were out. Either they were napping, or hiding in confusion of this crazy weather! Perhaps they will be out next time.
