It is hard to believe this school year will quickly be coming to an end. We are in the final stretch with ten weeks left. Next week we will be working diligently, wrapping up the 3rd Quarter. The following week we will be testing, and taking a break in preparation and celebration of Easter.
This year has revealed alot to us as a family, academically as well as in our everyday lives. I have always been rather 'Type-A' in regards to my personality. I like to have all my boxes checked, everything has a place, and everything in it's place. Life doesn't always work that way though! When we walk with the Lord, sometimes His plans are quite different than ours. Our normal, mundane, routine, same ol' - same ol' life has been quite different this year. Various circumstances have taken place, and as a result I have had to think 'outside of the box'. The Lord has given us opportunities this year to see things from a different perspective. A much better perspective! The everyday view of our life has changed, revealing His view and His plan! With this, I have realized it is ok to change things up a bit!
For 4th Quarter, we will be changing our Spelling curriculum. We will begin using All About Spelling. Our Math curriculum will also change, and we will begin our transition to Singapore Primary Math. We will be finishing up our other subjects, and spending more time enjoying Art, Notebooking and Nature!
