Snowflakes

Snowflakes falling from the sky
Help remind us exactly why
Christmas came so long ago
Cleansing the earth like each new snow.

One pure, unique, and perfect form,
Who came to earth to withstand the storm.
Each snowflake melts as does the ice,
But we can’t forget the sacrifice;

So display this symbol of the season
To recollect what gives us reason
One pure, unique and perfect form,
Who came to earth to transcend the storm.

This weekend Grasshopper, Caterpillar and I enjoyed making window "cling" snowflakes!

They were alot of fun to make and so easy. We traced snowflake patterns onto wax paper, using glittery fabric paint! Let it dry for about 24 hours and then peel and stick!

They came out beautiful! Give it a try!

I soooo want to do this!!

Fabric paint (any special kind?)
Wax paper (check)
Snowflake patterns? (where did you get them?)

And we all loved the poem.
