Glitter and Gold...

So often this time of year

we get caught up in

the hustle and bustle.

The glitter and gold.

I find myself rushing about,

hurrying to finish this and that.

We grow tired and weary,

the weather can be

so cold and dreary.

Yet I am reminded

why we celebrate the season.

The real reason.

What it really means.

The giving.

As we were given the most

precious gift of all.

Christ.

The King.

He is LORD.

He deserves all the glitter and gold.

He is our Saviour!
